There are adequate classrooms with the capacity of accommodating all the students admitted in each class. The rooms are well ventilated and properly lighted. Each classroom has a student chair, black chalk boards/ white boards, lecture stand, LCD Projector OHP projector and table and chair for teachers.

The Infrastructure have been meticulously planned to accommodate students with spacious, well ventilated classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements.

Bio-Metric Attendance

In our school of nursing we have the facility of biometric attendance which is compulsory for every student for marking their attendance. This attendance is recorded in school and as well as in Uttar Pradesh medical faculty for ensuring the attendance of students.

Fundamental lab

The primary goal of the Fundamentals Lab is to enhance the nursing students to learn the basic nursing skills and intervention concepts with the valuable opportunity of practicing them on adult-sized patients in an acute care hospital setting. The basic skill of nursing practice is through the utilization of theory and kinesthetic learning principles.

The physical layout accommodates various learning areas according to the needs of the students. The lab consists of 10 hospital beds holding “patients” (mannequins). The “patients”, with movable limbs and replaceable parts, are recipients of a variety of nursing interventions – repositioning, injections, intravenous catheters, nasogastric tubes, foleys catheters, wound care, and oxygenation therapy.

The uniqueness of the Lab is that it combines the atmosphere of the hospital environment with sophisticated learning technology. It is instrumental for ensuring the success of all our nursing students as they progress throughout their diploma program. Nursing foundation lab is one which makes the imagination of hospitals set up, and the students can study the procedures and all the things on a dummy with the help of clinical instructors. These will help the students to reduce the stress and fear about the hospital environment.

AIMS

  • To increase awareness among the students in the field of medicine to get a positive understanding between the doctor, nurse and patient in treating patient.
  • For providing practical knowledge as a demonstration in the institutional set up itself without any barrier.

 

OBJECTIVES

  • The actual part is attained if the students have an imaginary set up of a fundamental lab.
  • The teacher demonstrates the procedure of an environment in the hospital set up.
  • The new students get direct experience to prepare themselves for hospital events.
  • To explain the basic concept of conceptual and theoretical models of nursing.

 

FACILITIES

  • The lab is well furnished and well ventilated with all the necessary equipments like patient beds, mattresses, bed sheets, bedside locker, linens and blankets, napkins and towels, bed cradle, cardiac table, wheel chair, stretcher, critical care unit( with O2 cylinder with flow meter, CPR dummy and Suction apparatus), different sizes procedure trays, and other instruments. And all the equipment’s are as per INC recognition and enough for each nursing course.
  • The lab also contains the manikin of three adult male and females as well as one newborn. There is one dummy of hand with visible veins which is used to study the procedure of introducing IVcannula.
  • There are also charts like types of O2 masks, injection sites, methods of medication administration, procedure of T.P.R B.P, nebulization procedure, first aid kit, etc.

ACTIVITIES

  • The students are doing all basic nursing procedures like bed bath, CPR, IV cannula insertion, IV therapy, Hair care, etc.
  • They are used to study the instruments which are used in hospitals, tray set up, maintaining aseptic technique during the procedure, etc.
  • They are allowed to issue the articles for the procedure. All activities are done for encouraging the students to be a functional nurse.

 AIMS 

  • To acquire knowledge of normal structure of various human body systems and understand the anatomical structure.
  • To acquire knowledge of the normal physiology of various human bodies.
  • To differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomical structures and functions 

OBJECTIVE

  • To describe the anatomical terms, organization of the human body.
  • To describe the structure and function of bones, joints and muscles.
  • To describe the structure and function of Nervous system and sensory organs.
  • To describe the structure and function of the Circulatory and Lymphatic System.
  • To describe the structure and function of the Respiratory and Digestive System.
  • To describe the physiology of cell, tissue, membrane and glands.
  • To describe the bone formation and growth and movement of the skeleton system.
  • To describe the physiology of blood and function of heart.
  • To describe the physiology and mechanism & digestive system.
  • To describe the physiology of Sensory organs endocrine gland.

   

FACILITIES

  • In our school the Lab is having proper lighting and good ventilation.
  • The anatomy and physiology lab consist of all the equipment such as adult human articulated skeleton, adult skull, pelvic, heart with large blood vessels, eye with different section, ear with different section, full set of disarticulated adult human skeleton, specimen like gallbladder with gallstones, cyst, appendix, normal uterus, placenta, uterus and submucous fibroid etc… and different charts of all the systems.
  • The lab is well furnished in such a way that the students are able to acquire their knowledge through their different demonstration
Audio-Visual Aids Lab

Audio – Visual aids communicate the ideas regarding learning activities to the students in an essay manner. A.V.Aids lab is opened for the students with latest equipment of LCD Projector, computer, laptop, TV, OHP, DVD player, Camera, Tape recorder, charts, models, posters and different types of boards which can provide high-tech educational media to support the teaching-learning activities of the students. The audiovisual aids lab is equipped with models, posters and charts prepared by the students.

Nutrition Lab

Nutrition Lab is equipped & well furnished with utensils & nutritional charts. It is well ventilated, lighting & adequate water facilities. The students are imparted knowledge to assess the nutritional needs, caloric requirement of different age groups and during various disease conditions.

AIMS

  • To acquire knowledge of nutrition for maintenance of optimum health at different stages of life and its application for practice of nutrition.
  • To plan the menu of the normal being as well as clients with different ailments in the health care settings.

 

OBJECTIVES

  • To describe the relationship between nutrition and health.
  • To describe the classification, functions, sources and recommended daily allowance of Carbohydrates.
  • To describe the sources, Functions, and requirements of water and electrolytes.
  • To describe various national programmes related to nutrition.

  • We have a well ventilated and well-furnished nutrition Lab.
  • We have facilities in the nutrition Lab. Like glassware articles, refrigerator, Mixture, Dinner Set, Dining Table with Chair, Table met, stove, weighing machine.

  • To prepare and serve simple beverages and different types of foods.

CHILD HEALTH NURSING (PEDIATRIC) LAB

Child health nursing encompasses a wide scope of practice typically 

associated with child care for both undergraduate and postgraduate 

students. Our department fosters an enrichment of student’s knowledge,

 attitude and practice in various health promotional activities of children

 and their families.

  • To provide the highest level of compassionate patient centered care and family centered through innovative evidenced- based nursing practice, education and research.Integration of developmental needs of children into nursing care with holistic approach.
  • Integration of scientific principles and theory related to child health nursing. Interdisciplinary team approach to plan and provide comprehensive child care.
  • Focusing on the ethical, moral and legal issues regarding child care. . Standard procedure’s manuals and protocols are in practice and updated as per the current scenario in the changing patterns of health  care delivery system and advancement in paediatric care.

OBS & Gynae Lab


Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing is a nursing specialty that works with care of motherhood and care of women with abnormalities in the reproductive system. The nursing students are taught to provide care of women during prenatal, intranatal, postnatal periods and care of women with Gynecological problems. With highly motivated teaching faculties sound theoretical knowledge is given to the students. We have greatly modernized equipment and facilities to provide training to the nursing students on various practical sessions. Scientific understanding, level of knowledge, acquisition of necessary skills and techniques and development of appropriate attitudes are monitored and evaluated. Among our greatest attributes is emphasis on competencies, creativity, critical thinking, clinical skills development, good professional judgment, informed decisions, effective and safe quality practice and keeping abreast with emerging concepts.

Community Health NSG Lab

Community Health Nursing is the community oriented primary health care programme and the integration of community medicine with the primary health care of individual and community

AIMS

  • Students render comprehensive care to the individual family and community and develop center understanding of rural community health management

 

OBJECTIVES

  • Students render comprehensive care to the individual family and community.

  • Students are able to involve in community participation.
  • Students develop IPR with the village leaders, community and other agencies.
  • Students organize and assist health camps.

FACILITIES

  • In our institute the community lab is properly equipped and well furnished with a healthy environment of learning.
  • The lab consists of all equipment for providing the basic care in terms of primary health care like community bag, Maternity kit and others.
  • The lab is arranged in such a manner that the students of the nursing programme can practice the procedure and make their effective A.V aids by using various charts displayed in community health care and education programmes for raising the health status of individuals.
  • The college is providing all the necessary articles to students for their better understanding.

Floor space 

The Central Library is spread over a floor space of about 1200 sq. mtrs. 

Facility 

Our library is the central hub of the school, well-equipped to support and facilitate teaching, learning of the Institute which is well stocked with latest editions of nursing books both Hindi and English editions which are procured every year and offered for Referencing and Circulation. The total number of books in the departmental library runs over 3000 titles. The library is open to all students and faculty members. A special rack has been allotted outside of the library for keeping the belongings of students before they enter the reading hall. Ample space has been provided to both the students and faculty along with comfortable seating arrangements. The print collection also includes research magazines, nursing journals. In addition to the professional reading the library provides a good amount of leisure reading and books for soft skills development.

Circulation and renewal procedures 

Authorized faculty and students of Nursing are allowed to use the library and borrow books. Each cupboard in this section has shelf guides which will help our students .book is issued for a period of 7 days afterwards Book has to be brought physically by the student for reissuing, if required.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Students should maintain silence while reading books. 
  2. Conversation, making noise, sleeping, resting legs on chairs and tables is strictly prohibited in the Library.
  3. Members entering the Library/reading room are required to leave all personal belongings like Umbrella, bags, books, etc., inside the locker room placed at the entrance.
  4. No outside/personal books are allowed inside the library.
  5. Personal belongings should not be left unattended. The Library staff are not responsible for any loss or damage.
  6. Students should follow the dress code of the college while visiting the Library.
  7. Misconduct or infringing the library rules is liable for disciplinary action.
  8. Misbehavior and misuse of Identity Card is an offence and the student responsible for the same is liable for disciplinary action.
  9. To obtain NO DUES certificate, one should return all books/journals borrowed pay overdue charges if any.
  10. In case of any grievances the students/faculty should contact the Principal/Vice principal.

The sports facility is an integral part of educational activity to keep students physically and mentally healthy The school provides sports and recreation activities for the students through the department of Physical education. Sports competitions are organized in the month of October year for which awards are given under respective categories.
