The Department of Paediatrics at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama Charitable Hospital comprises expert paediatricians and dedicated nursing staff with an extensive experience in general paediatrics, paediatric critical care, providing seamless diagnostics and paediatric solutions for skin, blood, lungs and kidney diseases. Our team is well-trained to provide tender and compassionate care to fetal patients, babies, children and adolescents with health issues and vaccination needs. Our paediatricians offer personalized educational and counseling services to the child’s attendants to give them full control over their ward’s wellbeing.

The department is furnished with sophisticated technology like high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), advanced monitoring systems, CPAPs, etc. that help us provide total safety and comfort to the child and mother. This department is supported by a 20 bedded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with a dedicated team of neonatologists and neonatal nurses supported by all the advanced facilities and ventilators. We also have an amazing playroom suited to our little patients that keeps them occupied.

Common paediatric conditions that our specialists treat include general defects of the chest (heart, lungs etc.), abdomen and cancer, nutritional disorders, kidney diseases and others. Minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures are used in paediatric surgeries keeping in mind delicate conditions of children.
