Mental illness, just like any other disease, can have dire consequences if gone unreported, and therefore needs immediate medical attention & treatment. The Department of Psychiatry at RKMS is dedicated to improve the health and well-being of patients suffering from Psychiatric disorders like depression, anxiety, mood swings, panic attacks, stress, addiction, alcohol & substance abuse, obsessive compulsive disorders, adjustment issues and other challenging conditions such as schizophrenia spectrum disorder etc.

The vastly experienced team of psychiatrists and clinical psychologists uses its clinical expertise & skills to understand the root cause of the problem and accordingly tailor the treatment to individual patients’ needs. We also provide inpatient rehab services for cancer patients undergoing treatment at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, to support them and their families throughout the process so that they can feel cared for.
