Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Vrindavan conducts Free Urology & General Surgery Camps for needy patients twice a year. The 1st Camp for this year was successfully conducted from 6th to 12th April, 2022 with the kind support of Manav Seva Sansthan, Mumbai. A team of 9 specialists from Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nanded, Bareilly etc. and 11 specialists of our Hospital have actively participated under the leadership of Dr.(Prof.) Harshad Punjani and Dr.Balachandra Kashyapi in screening the patients and conducting the surgeries.
During this Camp, surgeries like TURP, PCNL, Cystoscopy, VIU, Urethroplasty, Hernioplasty, Hypospodiasis, Circumcision, Eversion of Sac, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Laparoscopic Appendectomy, Hysterectomy etc. were conducted. 405 patients were screened in the OPD and 126 patients underwent surgeries (66 Urology and 60 other surgeries) free of cost.
The next Free Urology and General Surgical Camp is scheduled to be held during November/December, 2022 by the same team of specialists in our Charitable Hospital by the courtesy of Manav Seva Sansthan, Mumbai.
